A few years ago I contacted the Ford Gumball Co. It could have been made during those few mysterious unknown years. The paint job is a factory paint, not painted by someone on the outside.
So it came from the factory painted blue. I just wrote Ford Gumball again hoping that maybe someone new would know a little more about it. Also every other collector I have talked to has never seen a blue one. Usually if you send them the serial number they will tell you all kinds of info of when it was made.
